  • - 2 tablespoons butter

  • - 3 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1 cup heavy cream
  • - 1/2 cup chicken or seafood broth
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 1 cup baby spinach optional
  • - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • - Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

- Cook the Tortellini:

  • - Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  • - Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

- Sauté the Shrimp:

  • - Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • - Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • - Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

- Make the Creamy Sauce:

  • - In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • - Pour in chicken or seafood broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  • - Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  • - Reduce heat to low and mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.

- Combine Everything:

  • - Add cooked tortellini and shrimp back into the skillet.
  • - Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce.
  • - Stir in baby spinach (if using) and let it wilt.
